Today revolves around one thing only. A song by Robert Earl Keen titled “Gringo Honeymoon”. Pure poetry. Please give a listen. We did it all –
Saw a cactus flower bloom
Took a rowboat cross the Rio Grande
Rode donkeys
Drank a beer in the shade – listened to the guitar player. (Forgot to take pic)
But we did get back home before the border closed at 4:00pm.
We also saw the world’s longest horse.
