We’ve been at Intracoastal Park in Sulphur, LA since Monday. We stopped at Steamboat Bill’s for fried gator, pistolettes (fried buns topped with crayfish or shrimp etouffee )and some red beans and rice before heading to the park and getting set up. Turns out I love fried food!

Our visit was peaceful with a waterfront site and tugboat entertainment all day long.

Yesterday was a great day for painting. I picked out a spot with plenty of shade for me and a tugboat right in front of me. However, when I gathered up all my supplies the tugboat was gone and I had to paint (pastels) from a picture. But I still enjoyed myself. The bugs, however, had a feast day on me though. I didn’t notice until the evening cause I was so engrossed in painting.

We’ll leave here this morning and head to Crystal Beach, TX.

Glad you were able to do some painting.
You sure are getting some education in eating these various foods.
