Monday – woke up early to a cold morning, to take a Ranger guided walk along the water to birdwatch. While not something we usually do, Big Bend has more species of birds than any other National Park and this is the time of year to see them. The one guide holds the record of 176 different birds in one month. It warmed up very quickly and the bike ride back to our campsite was much more enjoyable.
